Custom Fabricated Restaurant Building Sign – Atchison, Kansas

LopezDeMexico-Night

Lopez De Mexico has been around since 1995 in downtown Atchison. They wanted something more than simple lettering for a sign. We are big fans of halo lit letters even though they don’t shine as bright as front lit letters. For this project, that was not an issue because the viewable distance was less than a block away. To maximize the reflectivity of the halo lit letters we had them mounted on a custom cabinet (sometimes called a wireway). That also allowed us to put edge lights (LEDs) along the bottom to illuminate the routed aluminum letters that are stud mounted under the sign.

The installation for this project was easier because of the wireway. We could install it in one piece rather than having to install each individual halo lit letter. We only had to run one power line through the wall of the building, instead of a separate line for each letter.

These are fun projects for us at Victory Sign Company when the client lets us get a little creative.
